CURRICULUM: THE SCIENCES
Mathematics. Our program in mathematics provides an excellent foundation of both concrete and abstract concepts, achieved through theoretical and concrete application, drills, and review. Concepts are reviewed regularly until mastery is achieved. Built on the Spirit of Math teaching concept, the curriculum promotes a deep understanding of concepts through multi-sensory manipulation and everyday relevance. Our sound focus on problem solving addresses key issues such as how mathematics relate to practical, everyday questions, and how to properly communicate your answers. Richland Academy produces students who enjoy the challenge of mathematics and are adept at applying their knowledge in real-world situations.
