Our Growth
In September 2027, twenty-five years after Richland Academy was founded, our Aurora Senior Campus will welcome students in Grades 7–8. As it expands to Grades 9–12, the campus will provide a seamless pathway to university and beyond.
From our beginnings in 2002 to the opening of our Senior School campus, Richland’s growth has always been guided by one vision: empowering students to reach their full potential.
RICHLAND’S NEW SENIOR CAMPUS
Designed to support the evolving needs of adolescent learners, the Senior Campus will provide a dynamic environment where students can deepen their knowledge, develop leadership skills, and pursue their interests through engaging academic, creative, and real-world experiences.
GROWING OUR LEARNING JOURNEY
From September 2027, our Junior Campus will continue serving Kindergarten to Grade 6 students, while Grade 7 and 8 students transition to our new Senior Campus alongside our first Grade 9 cohort. Each year, an additional grade will be introduced, completing our Kindergarten to Grade 12 pathway by 2030.

Across both campuses, students will continue to experience Richland Academy’s progressive education model, developing as deeper thinkers, confident learners, and world-ready students. Rooted in Reggio-inspired principles and the IB framework, our learning approach will continue to nurture curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and meaningful growth.
GROWING WITH AI
As part of our continued growth, Richland Academy is partnering with Flint to thoughtfully introduce age-appropriate AI into learning. Guided by educators, students develop the skills to use emerging technologies responsibly while strengthening creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
