Student Wellbeing & Support

By recognizing individual strengths, providing guidance, and adapting support when needed, educators create a learning environment where each student is encouraged, challenged, and supported throughout their journey.

STUDENT SUPPORT

Teachers build strong connections with students through daily interactions, regular check-ins, and an understanding of each learner’s individual needs. This allows educators to provide timely support, encouragement, and guidance throughout the school year.

Support is offered in the following ways

  • Yoga sessions

  • Targeted workshops for social emotional skills.

  • Workshops for executive functioning.

  • All classrooms have dedicated quiet cozy spaces.

  • Sensory tools are available in all classrooms.

  • Flexible seatings and cushions.

  • Ongoing monitoring of student workload and stress

“Knowing that she was surrounded by educators who cared deeply about her well-being gave us tremendous peace of mind as parents.”

STUDENT SUCCESS

At Richland Academy, support isn't optional — it's essential, because every child's learning journey looks different.

Our educators see each student as an individual first, taking the time to understand how they learn, what challenges them, and what helps them grow.

We treat student support as the foundation of achievement, not an add-on. It shows up daily, in our classrooms and in the community we've built, where every student feels connected, capable, and seen every step of the way.
